May was a whirlwind of a month with sessions almost every single day! I even made my way out to Charlottesville for a few sessions. I get asked all the time if I travel for shoots and the answer is a big: Yes! Charlottesville is one of my favorite short jumps. Its a great drive and with a little planning you can make a day of it and catch a few stunning mountain views. Lastly, May was the last month for Legacy Portraits and a great month for newborn sessions. Scroll to the end of the post to see a review from all of May's sessions.
In addition to all of the Legacy Portraits for May, I had quite a few newborn sessions as well. No matter how many newborn sessions I do, I never get tired of watching them snuggle in moms arms, seeing them take BIG yawns, and honestly fawning over how tiny those fingers and toes are! I think that's why these types of sessions are some of my favorite because it never ceases to amaze me the miracle it is that we all started out so small and that we're all here today.
June kicks off the Summer Mini series and don't forget about the added special location days! You can read all the details about that here. Summer also means my schedule is opening up! Whew! I have to say I'm a bit relieved! I'm looking forward to more flexibility and shorter turnaround times for my clients. Finally, I am also looking forward to June's wedding. Its going to be a big one. I will definitely be blogging about that later.
